Boat Inspection
At Captains' Boatwatch we have taken procedures and checklists proven by the airlines and adapted them for our use when we visit and inspect your boat. Following a routine and filling out the checklist ensures that no item is overlooked. We inspect over fifty important items on board, and if you like we will start and run the engines and electronic equipment. Click on the link below to see our current checklist.
We visit and check your boat twice per month, and if all is well we send the completed Boat Visit Checklists to you at month end, accompanied by three digital photos of your beautiful vessel.
If we see an item that needs attention we will inform you immediately. If you agree there is a need we will recommend an appropriate course of action and arrange the repairs.
You don't need to worry about supervising the work via long distance and Blackberry while you try to concentrate on your job. Let us handle it.

 Storm Preparedness
Here
in Victoria we don't like to admit it, but the skies are not always
blue and the winds are not always light. From October through March we can
be assured of enduring two or three big North Pacific storms, which
often bring large waves and storm force winds to attack our waterfront
areas.
With our Storm Prep service we ensure that your yacht, its
covers and attachments are secure and ready to weather the blow. We
also follow up with a post-storm visit to ensure that your boat is
still safe.
This service is automatic when you check the box on your service agreement.
